Privacy & cookies

How personal data is handled on websitesdesignedforfree.com, a small information website.

Who is responsible

This website is operated by SmartTechHub Limited (company number 15563746, registered office 7 Bell Yard, London, England, WC2A 2JR) as a Rapid Websites brand. For privacy questions, contact [email protected].

What this website does

This is an information site with one enquiry form. It has no accounts, no checkout and no tracking.

Like any website, the server that delivers these pages receives technical information such as your IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time. This may be recorded in server logs to deliver the site and keep it secure.

When you send an enquiry

We collect the details you type in (name, email, business name, optional phone and message, and what you need), the page you sent it from, any campaign labels in the link you arrived by (such as utm_source), and a shortened one-way code made from your IP address to limit spam. Your IP address itself isn't stored.

We use this only to reply to your enquiry and arrange your consultation. The lawful basis is our legitimate interest in responding to requests you make, and taking steps at your request before a contract. Enquiries are stored on a server we control and may be emailed to our team. We keep enquiries for up to 12 months, then delete them unless you become a customer.

When you continue to RapidWebsite

Links such as "Customer login" and "service terms" go to rapidwebsite.co.uk and include campaign labels showing you came from this site. They don't include your personal details. Anything you enter there is handled under its privacy policy.

Cookies and tracking

This site does not set analytics or advertising cookies and does not use tracking pixels, so there is no cookie banner. If that changes, we'll update this page and ask for your consent where required. RapidWebsite's own cookies are described in its cookie policy.

Your rights

You have rights under UK data protection law, including to access and correct your data. Contact [email protected]. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
